The Augustinians of the IHM have become two communities.

In 1993, two brothers were called to establish a new religious community.
In August of that year, the AIHM Community was formed.

Thirteen years later, after a long and greatly blessed journey,
these same brothers accepted the challenge to pursue
new and separate paths of consecrated life.

The Journey to Carmel!

After thirteen years as co-founder of the AIHM Order,
Fr. Christopher and a group of brothers have established a
new independent Carmelite community.

The brothers are spending a full canonical year in prayer and study,
and plan to establish our first house in Phoenix, Arizona during the summer of 2008.

Additional houses are planned for the East Coast later this year.
